TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Torrance, California, 90503 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid state license must be in hand Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, FHM, NRP Must-Have: - Expert precepting skills - Candidates must be willing to float between different hospitals nearby - Minimum of two supervisory references covering one year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting Job Description: - Responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in Labor and Delivery - First-time candidates accepted, open to those with at least one year of experience - May be required to work weekends depending on the contract length - Will need to float between similar units and, at times, to the mother-baby unit - Responsible for completing modules pre-start and annually, with orientation provided - Willing to work 3 out of 5 major holidays as needed - Open to accommodating block schedules per management's discretion - Must comply with floating requirements or face assignment termination and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours - The facility is open to local candidates with experience, but local rates will apply - All travelers must agree to float within all facilities within a given state Additional Information: - Communication devices required for the assignment will be provided or reimbursed - Flu vaccine status unknown; COVID-19 vaccine not required - Potential floating to nearby medical centers may be necessary during the assignment - The assignment begins once orientation and necessary modules are completed 26266402EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
