Job Description:
Job Description BAE Systems is looking for an experienced,
self-motivated Senior Systems Engineer to work on a
multi-disciplinary team in an Agile, fast-paced development
environment. The qualified candidate will support the development
and implementation of a predictive analytic software tool suite.
Assigned tasks may include analysis of needs, the development of
Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), working with customers and other
team members, preparing user interface mock-ups, technical
documentation in MagicDraw (MBSE artifacts) and Confluence,
generation of agile features and SPIKEs in JIRA, backlog
prioritization and management, sprint planning, customer
engagement, close interaction with software and system test
engineers on the team to achieve program objectives. Perform
analysis and tasks at concurrent stages to include technical
planning, system design, software implementation, system
integration, verification and validation. Position may require
occasional business travel to customer locations in support of
product demonstrations and customer meetings.Employee Benefits: At

US citizenship status*Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering/technical discipline,
and 10+ years related experience or equivalent experience, training
and/or certifications
- Experience with analytics, track data, and/or observational
data
- Experience with schema use and development
- Proficient in mathematical, algorithmic and/or statistical
analysis methods and tools
- Experience working on-site with customers and end users in the
DoD and/or Intelligence Community
- Experience with Agile management tools (e.g., Jira, etc.)
- Experience with UML/SysML modeling tools such as MagicDraw,
Enterprise Architect
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Git,
etc.)
- Experience with DevSecOps tools and processes
- Experience with Cloud computing environments ( e.g., AWS,
Azure)
- Understanding of User Interface design and development
practices
- Knowledge of open, standards-based architectures, interfaces
and geospatial dataPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Proficient in requirements identification, analysis,
documentation, and tracking
- Proficient analyzing customer needs, and identifying user
stories and technical tasks to achieve various Agile objectives and
iterative development schedules
- Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be
productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment
- Motivated self-starter with good problem solving skills,
judgment, and analytical capability
- Ability to develop improved methods to increase program
efficiency
- Demonstrated leadership skills (supervisory experience,
building teams, mentoring, building customer relationships)
- Ability to negotiate effectively with higher level managers,
functional managers, customers, industry partners, and
teammates

- $239140Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
